Microsoft MCITP Authentication Training

By Quincy Grover

Many IT experts have differing views on which authentications are most valuable to today's technology pro. One thing most agree on nevertheless , is that vendor-specific certs from Microsoft are among the most wanted accreditations to earn, thanks to the Windows operating systems and their huge market shares.

IT gurus who need to display their comprehensive skills can depend on the Microsoft Certificated IT Pro (MCITP) authorization to show both potential employers and possible clients their in depth information.

Erik Eickel, a Tech Republic writer and IT pro, is confident that the MCITP recommendation is the dynamic Microsoft documentation. In reality Eickel ranked the MCITP certification No. 1 in Tech Republic's yearly "10 Best IT Licenses" report for the last three years running.

"By matching the new verification to popular job roles, as has been done to a point with CompTIA's Server+ (server director), Project+ (project manager), and A+ (desktop support) licenses, Microsoft has made a new documentation that's certain to prove timely, important, and valuable," Eickel wrote in the most recent report.

What makes MCITP validation so valuable?

According to coaching information from Microsoft, MCITP essentially carries on where MCTS (Microsoft Certified Technology Consultant) ratification leaves off. Applicants for MCITP validation have at least 2 years of experience as IT professionals.

Eickel points out that the MCITP verification is unique because it matches abilities in preferred job roles. The accreditation is available in a number of different specialties which relate to one or two different IT pro career paths, so it is able to convey precise data in one's selected special field.

According to Microsoft, the MCITP certification is available in the following platforms:

Windows Client

Windows Server

Microsoft SQL Server

Microsoft Office Project Server

Microsoft Exchange Server

Microsoft SharePoint Server

Microsoft Lync Server

Verification exams are further broken down by job functions in each platform, including developer, technician and administrator roles. Eickel reveals that some areas could be more applicable than others. He particularly highlighted the Firm Desktop Administrator, Server Director and Firm Messaging Administrator trails as being particularly pertinent to today's IT pros because newer Microsoft platforms are rapidly replacing retiring Exchange servers.

Banking on the MCITP authorization

Due to its immediate application to so many dynamic job functions, earning MCITP certification can pay off for many IT pros. According to 2011 income info from Worldwide Learning, the mean annual salary for an IT pro with MCITP ratification is $77,529. Data shows mean earnings figure can alter by specialization:

MCITP: Server Administrator - $75,311

MCITP: Enterprise Director - $79,824

MCITP: Database Administrator - $84,320

MCITP: Firm Messaging Director - $91,192

MCITP authentication is probably going to be a great way for today's IT pros to display their skills and validate experience through its relevance to job-specific functions.
