Why Is Minecraft So Popular?

Minecraft is a sandbox computer game which has sold millions of copies for the PC, Android and iOS mobile systems and the Xbox 360. In a nutshell, the player basically navigates the massive world while building different items utilizing blocks. While you're navigating the environment and building items, you have to constantly be on the look out for hostile enemies that attack you on sight. There are many reasons why Minecraft is as trendy as it is and will continue to be popular as more people begin to see what the game is all about.

A Creative Experience

Minecraft allows anyone to be as creative as one wants. While the traditional Survival and Adventure modes allow players to go on all sorts of missions and complete many objectives while trying to survive, Minecraft's Creative mode allows people to create all sorts of different things with any tool they want and without taking any damage. With all the environments and buildings that you construct in the game, other players from around the globe are able to interact and share them with you.

A Variety of Things

Minecraft provides players with a large variety of surroundings and different tools which makes it easy to navigate. You don't have to worry about a bland environment as this game provides you with a vast amount of different landscapes. The game has dozens of blocks to play with. Each block has specific unique properties and can be utilized in lots of ways. There's also a huge number of trees, monsters, weapons, building tools and special potions to make use of throughout the game.

Fun Enemies

People can play against several enemies in the game. While it's fun to play with each other, it may also be fun to tackle different Mobs inside the game. These include the Endermen, Wither Skeletons, Zombies, Spiders, Cave Spiders and Blazes among many others.

Easy to Operate

The game easily runs on a variety of devices as a consequence of its unique block-style interface. So far for mobile devices, Minecraft runs great on the Android, and iOS as well. With the PC version, it's able to run on any of the main operating systems. For the system requirements, the game requires only 2GB of RAM, and 90MB of HD space. Compared to a lot of other games, these system requirements are much lower.

Easy to Share

It's also easy to share things in the Minecraft game with other players. Minecraft allows players to make and share a vast amount of items in a variety of forms. You can create and share texture packs that change the looks of the game with other people. Also, it is easy to share survival and adventure mode maps with others. People can even download various custom skins to give their custom characters unique appearances. Players are free to download these skins from various places.

New Features Always Come Up

Minecraft never gets boring because it is constantly being updated with new things. New versions and updates of Minecraft are always being brought out with support for all sorts of new things including new maps, tools and other features. The expansion of the game is continuous and it will continue to evolve as it becomes more popular.
