How To Choose A Good Gamer Pc

By Shirley Campbell

PC gaming is a pretty big thing these days which is why gaming computers are all the rage among video gamers who do not want to buy consoles. Of course, if one wants to be able to play games in a computer, then he or she must have a gamer pc. In order to create a good gaming pc, then he or she must know the specs of a good computer so that he or she may customize it and make it work well.

The first thing that one has to take into consideration would be the CPU. At the very least, one must have a two core processor to take most basic games. However, one will definitely have to check the processor requirements of each individual game to see if that particular game would need a higher core processor.

Aside from that, one must also take into consideration how the processor would affect the definition of the game. In order to get a high def gaming experience, the least that one would need is a 2.5Ghz processor. For more modern processors, the thing to watch out for would be whether the processor is an i5 or i7 wherein the i5 is the minimum needed for gaming and the i7 is the most powerful type.

Moving on from the processor, the next thing to take note of would be the graphic cards as that would directly affect gameplay. With regard to the motherboard, the motherboard has to have the compatible slots for the right dual graphic cards. At a minimum, the motherboard must first have the right SLI slot for the NVIDIA cards or it must have the right Crossfire slot for the AMD Crossfire cards which can run dual graphic cards.

With regard to the graphic cards, you need to get the ones that support the display settings. Good graphic cards would have memories of around 2GB and 4GB to play up to 60 frames per second. If you can, get a video card that can take up to 90 frames per second. This would help prevent lagging or slow running.

The RAM is the next thing to think about. Most of the motherboards would have RAMs that are either a DDR3 or a DDR4 as these are the best for gaming. As with the memory, 16GB to 32GB is a good range but 32GB may be needed for the really high def games with insane graphics.

The last thing to take note of would be the hard drive. The most common type of hard drive would be the HDD which should be 7200RPM and have a cached memory of 16MB in order to take games. As for the storage size, one would want to get a size of up to 500GB for high graphics games but 250GB will suffice for lower graphics games.

Now, those are some of the most basic things that one must have in order to have a good gaming computer. Other stuff can come later such as a gaming mouse, keyboard, joystick, power supply, high def monitor, and other things. As long as the basic things are gotten, then the computer is good to go.
