Getting Friends As You Play A Space MMO

By Casandra Z. Brent

The space MMO games, also known as massively multiplayer online games, are all about working together with other players in order to overcome the game's challenges. One player games have been the vast majority of games over the course of video game history, especially on consoles. It is true that lots of one player games are quite well designed and incorporate challenging and fun gameplay elements; still, multiplayer games offer something special that you cannot find anywhere else. When you play a massively multiplayer online game, you can meet other players, enlist their help, offer your support, and develop relationships that will last as long as you play the game. If you have good friends in the game you are playing, you will never be bored and will always find entertaining things to do with your character.

When you originally start a new space MMO game, you will have to create a new character that starts at the lowest level of skill and abilities. It takes quite a bit of time and effort to defeat enemies and complete assigned tasks in the game in order to develop a stronger character, but this process is more entertaining when you do not have to go it alone. It is not hard to establish relationships with other gamers early in your character's development if you start teaming up with them at the earliest levels. This will also grant you the ability to level up faster and progress into the more challenging and entertaining parts of the game quickly.

As you progress through the game and become regular teammates with other space MMO gamers, you will notice additional benefits of these relationships. As the game progresses and your character's gear becomes more vital you will see the benefit of having friends with whom you can trade easily. When you are confronted with massive battles that require the teamwork of several players, it will be easy to form a skilled group if you simply request the help of your friends.

It is easy to keep in contact with other gamers using the MMO's built in chat system. Keeping track of the players you have teamed up with in the past is easy since most games allow you to save friends to a master list so that communicating with them again is easy.

If you make an effort to be an amiable, social player in a space MMO, you can expect to reap the rewards. By getting together with other players, interchanging items with them, and chatting while you play, you will both enjoy your game more and advance through it more rapidly.
